To perform an XSL Transformation of any XML document, XML Spy can either use the Microsoft-supplied MSXML module or you can specify any external XSLT processor in the XSL tab on the Settings dialog. If your XML document contains a reference to an XSL stylesheet, which can be easily assigned using the Assign XSL command, this is automatically used by the XSLT transformation command. Alternatively you can also define the XSLT stylesheet to transform with on a per-folder basis in the project properties. This command normally operates on the frontmost main window, but you can also use the XSL Transformation command in batch-processing mode on any file, folder, or group of files in the active project window.
